This is a fun, non-competitive, instructional co-ed league for boys and girls ages 6 years through 6th grade. The focus is on learning the fundamental skills of soccer in a setting where winning is down-played, character development is highlighted, and everyone plays. All children registered on time will receive a game jersey.

Ashtabula County Youth Track and Field's fall cross country program is offered through the Y starting this summer.  Children 8 years old and older as of 12/31/21 will practice throughout the summer and fall, and attend several meets.

Learn the basics and practice your game at our youth sports camps.  Each one-week camp will focus on a different sport.  Children will spend the week learning various drills and activities to improve their game, then demonstrate what they learned with a scrimmage or performance on Saturday.  

Our Pre-K students are learning to safely enjoy fun in the pool, just in time for summer! YMCA child care programs are staffed with people who understand the cognitive, physical and social development of kids, the need children have to feel connected and supported in trying new things, and the caring and reinforcement parents and families need to help each other.

Ashtabula County Youth Track and Field with head coach Luke Stecki is now offered through the Y.  Most standard track and field events will be offered.  This program is for boys and girls who will be 8

Registration is now open for the YMCA Junior High Basketball League. This in-house league for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls is open to all skill and experience levels.

Martial Arts classes are back at the Y!  Local Black Belt Frank Verdi is teaching youth and adult classes on Wednesday evenings.  Youth class (ages 7 to 13) runs from 6 to 7:30pm, and adult class (14 and older) runs from 7:30 to 9pm.  Classes run in four week sessions, with the cost per session either $18 for Y members or $40 for participants.  The next session starts on February 3, 2021.
